REFUND & RETURN POLICY
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
Thank you for shopping with KĀMOKU.
Because KĀMOKU sells tattoo-care, skincare, and other personal-care products, product hygiene, safety, quality control, storage conditions, and chain of custody are important.
Once a product has been opened, unsealed, used, tested, altered, or otherwise removed from its original saleable condition, KĀMOKU can no longer verify its hygiene, handling, storage conditions, contamination status, or product integrity.
For these reasons, certain return and refund restrictions apply.
This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made directly through kamoku.com and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Shipping Policy.
KĀMOKU is operated by Oasis Beauty USA LLC.
1. ELIGIBLE RETURNS
Subject to the exclusions and conditions described in this Policy, we accept eligible return requests submitted within 30 days after delivery.
For a return based on change of mind, customer preference, ordering the wrong product, or another reason not attributable to KĀMOKU, the product must be:
-
Unopened;
-
Unused;
-
Untested;
-
Unsealed only if the original seal remains intact;
-
Unaltered;
-
In its original condition;
-
In its original packaging;
-
In clean and saleable condition; and
-
Accompanied by valid proof of purchase or the applicable order number.
Submitting a return request does not automatically mean the return has been approved.
Please contact us at:
operation@kamoku.com
before returning any product.
Returns sent without required prior authorization or sent to an unauthorized address may be refused and may not qualify for a refund.
If a return is approved, we may provide return instructions, an authorized return address, and a deadline by which the product must be shipped.
2. OPENED, UNSEALED, USED, OR TESTED PRODUCTS
Because KĀMOKU products are skincare, tattoo-care, and other personal-care products, once a product has been opened or its original seal has been broken, we can no longer verify its:
-
Hygiene;
-
Handling history;
-
Storage conditions;
-
Exposure to outside environments;
-
Contamination status;
-
Product integrity; or
-
Suitability for resale to another customer.
For health, hygiene, safety, quality-control, and product-integrity reasons, opened, unsealed, used, or tested products cannot be returned to inventory or resold and are therefore generally non-returnable and non-refundable, except where the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or applicable law otherwise requires a remedy.
This restriction applies even if:
-
Only a small amount of the product was used;
-
The product was opened only once;
-
The product was tested only briefly;
-
The customer states that the product remains mostly full; or
-
The customer believes the product is still suitable for resale.
KĀMOKU determines whether a returned product remains in saleable condition, subject to applicable law.
3. CHANGE OF MIND AND PERSONAL PREFERENCE
A customer's change of mind or personal preference does not mean that a product is defective.
Examples include situations where a customer:
-
No longer wants the product;
-
Ordered the wrong product;
-
Prefers a different product;
-
Does not like the scent;
-
Does not like the texture;
-
Does not like how the product feels;
-
Expected a different subjective experience; or
-
Otherwise changes their mind after purchase.
Unopened Products
If the product remains unopened, unused, sealed where applicable, and otherwise satisfies the requirements of this Policy, the customer may request a return within 30 days after delivery.
The customer is responsible for applicable return shipping costs as described below.
Opened Products
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
An opened, unsealed, used, or tested product is not eligible for return or refund solely because the customer changed their mind, did not like the product, preferred another product, or was dissatisfied with a subjective characteristic of the product.
4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, we generally do not accept returns of:
-
Opened products;
-
Used products;
-
Tested products;
-
Products with broken or removed seals;
-
Products that have been applied to the skin;
-
Products that have been altered;
-
Products that may have been contaminated;
-
Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling, misuse, or improper storage;
-
Products no longer in their original condition;
-
Products missing required original packaging;
-
Products that cannot reasonably and safely be resold;
-
Gift cards;
-
Complimentary samples;
-
Free promotional items; or
-
Products clearly identified as Final Sale at the time of purchase.
These restrictions do not eliminate rights or remedies that applicable law requires for defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise nonconforming products.
5. CUSTOMER-RESPONSIBLE RETURN SHIPPING
If an eligible return results from:
-
A change of mind;
-
Ordering the wrong product;
-
Personal preference;
-
No longer wanting the product; or
-
Another reason not attributable to KĀMOKU,
the customer is responsible for all applicable return shipping costs.
Original outbound shipping charges are generally non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
KĀMOKU does not ordinarily provide a free prepaid return label for customer-responsible returns.
If KĀMOKU elects to provide a return label as a convenience, the cost of the return label may be deducted from the refund where disclosed and permitted by applicable law.
We strongly recommend that customers use a trackable shipping method.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the customer remains responsible for a customer-arranged return shipment until the package is actually received by KĀMOKU or our designated return facility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KĀMOKU is not responsible for customer-arranged return packages that are:
-
Lost in transit;
-
Damaged in transit;
-
Delayed;
-
Misdelivered; or
-
Sent to an incorrect or unauthorized return address.
6. KĀMOKU FULFILLMENT ERRORS
KĀMOKU will provide an appropriate remedy for confirmed errors attributable to our own fulfillment operations.
Examples may include:
-
We shipped the wrong product;
-
We shipped the wrong variation;
-
We shipped the wrong quantity;
-
We omitted a purchased item; or
-
Another confirmed fulfillment error attributable to KĀMOKU.
Please contact us at:
operation@kamoku.com
as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
We recommend reporting fulfillment issues preferably within 7 days after delivery so that we can investigate efficiently.
We may reasonably request:
-
Your order number;
-
Photographs of the products received;
-
Photographs of the shipping packaging;
-
A description of the issue; and
-
Other information reasonably necessary to verify the claim.
Remedies
If we confirm an error attributable to KĀMOKU, we will provide an appropriate remedy.
Where permitted by applicable law, that remedy may include:
-
Sending the correct product;
-
Sending a missing item;
-
Replacement;
-
Reshipment;
-
Store credit where agreed;
-
Refund where appropriate; or
-
Another remedy permitted or required by applicable law.
Where legally permitted, KĀMOKU may determine the appropriate initial remedy based on the circumstances.
A refund is not automatically required where the issue can lawfully and reasonably be corrected through replacement, reshipment, or another appropriate remedy.
Customers will not be required to pay reasonable shipping costs necessary to correct a confirmed KĀMOKU fulfillment error.
7. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR COMPROMISED PRODUCTS
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
If you believe a product arrived:
-
Damaged;
-
Defective;
-
Leaking;
-
Broken;
-
Materially compromised;
-
Improperly sealed; or
-
Otherwise nonconforming,
please contact:
operation@kamoku.com
as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 days after delivery.
We may reasonably request:
-
Your order number;
-
Photographs of the product;
-
Photographs of the shipping packaging;
-
Product batch or lot information;
-
A description of the issue; and
-
Other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
Please retain the affected product and packaging while the issue is being reviewed where reasonably possible.
Available Remedies
If we determine that a product qualifies as defective, damaged, compromised, or otherwise nonconforming and KĀMOKU is responsible for providing a remedy, the remedy may include:
-
Replacement;
-
Reshipment;
-
Refund;
-
Store credit where agreed; or
-
Another remedy required or permitted by applicable law.
Where permitted by applicable law, KĀMOKU may select an appropriate initial remedy.
Nothing in this Policy limits a remedy that applicable law specifically requires.
8. SHIPPING-CARRIER DAMAGE, LOSS, OR DELAY
Issues caused by an independent shipping carrier are primarily governed by our Shipping Policy.
If available evidence indicates that loss, delay, damage, scanning error, misdelivery, or another shipping problem resulted from the carrier rather than from a KĀMOKU fulfillment or product error, the matter may require investigation through the applicable carrier.
KĀMOKU may reasonably assist by providing:
-
Tracking information;
-
Proof of shipment;
-
Delivery documentation;
-
Carrier contact information;
-
Insurance documentation; or
-
Reasonable assistance with a carrier investigation or claim.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, a loss, delay, or other problem caused solely by an independent shipping carrier does not automatically create an immediate right to a KĀMOKU refund or free replacement before the matter has been reasonably investigated.
Any remedy will be determined according to:
-
Our Shipping Policy;
-
Available carrier findings;
-
Applicable shipping insurance or protection;
-
The circumstances of the shipment; and
-
Applicable law.
9. PACKAGES MARKED AS DELIVERED
If carrier records reasonably confirm that an order was properly delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer, a refund or replacement is not automatically available solely because the customer later reports that the package cannot be located.
Loss, theft, disappearance, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy.
Customers may be required to contact:
-
The shipping carrier;
-
Building or property management;
-
Mailroom or reception staff; or
-
Local authorities where appropriate.
KĀMOKU may reasonably assist by providing available shipping and delivery documentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KĀMOKU is not responsible for theft, disappearance, loss, or damage occurring after a package has been properly delivered.
10. SKIN SENSITIVITY, ALLERGIES, AND INDIVIDUAL REACTIONS
Individual responses to cosmetic, skincare, tattoo-care, and personal-care products vary.
Customers should review the full ingredient list before use, particularly if they have known:
-
Allergies;
-
Sensitivities;
-
Skin conditions;
-
Ingredient restrictions; or
-
Other relevant concerns.
An individual:
-
Sensitivity;
-
Allergy;
-
Irritation;
-
Skin response;
-
Texture preference;
-
Scent preference; or
-
Other personal response
does not automatically establish that a product is defective.
If you experience significant irritation or another adverse reaction, discontinue use and seek appropriate professional advice when necessary.
Because a product involved in an individual skin reaction will generally have been opened, unsealed, tested, or used, it is not automatically eligible for return or refund solely because an individual reaction occurred.
If you believe a reaction resulted from a product defect, contamination, manufacturing issue, or another product-quality problem, please contact us so that we can reasonably investigate the circumstances.
Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy that applicable law requires us to provide.
11. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTOMATIC-RENEWAL ORDERS
KĀMOKU may offer subscription, recurring-delivery, Subscribe & Save, auto-replenishment, or other automatically renewing purchase options.
Applicable subscription terms, including:
-
Price;
-
Billing frequency;
-
Renewal terms; and
-
Cancellation instructions
will be disclosed during enrollment as required by applicable law.
Customer Responsibility to Cancel
Customers are responsible for cancelling a subscription before the applicable renewal or billing date if they do not wish to receive or be charged for the next scheduled order.
A properly disclosed and authorized renewal charge does not become invalid solely because the customer forgot to cancel the subscription before renewal.
Renewal Orders Entering Fulfillment
KĀMOKU processes orders quickly.
A subscription renewal order may therefore enter fulfillment shortly after the recurring payment is processed.
Once a properly authorized renewal order has:
-
Entered fulfillment;
-
Begun processing;
-
Been packaged;
-
Been prepared for shipment; or
-
Been transferred to a shipping carrier,
it generally cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded solely because the customer forgot to cancel the subscription before renewal, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Cancellation of a subscription generally applies only to future renewal orders and does not retroactively cancel a properly authorized renewal order that has already been processed.
Requests Before Fulfillment
If you contact us promptly after a renewal charge but before the order enters fulfillment, we may attempt to cancel the order where operationally feasible.
Cancellation is not guaranteed.
Subscription Exceptions
The provisions above do not limit rights or remedies where:
-
A recurring charge was not properly authorized;
-
Legally required automatic-renewal disclosures or consent were not provided;
-
KĀMOKU made a fulfillment error;
-
A product qualifies as damaged or defective;
-
A billing error occurred; or
-
Applicable law otherwise requires a remedy.
12. ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
KĀMOKU processes orders quickly.
Customers should carefully review all order details and make sure they are ready to complete the purchase before placing an order.
Please review:
-
Product selections;
-
Quantities;
-
Subscription selections;
-
Shipping address;
-
Billing information; and
-
Other order information
before submitting the order.
If you notice an issue immediately after ordering, you may contact:
operation@kamoku.com
We may attempt to assist if operationally possible.
However, order changes and cancellations are not guaranteed after an order has been submitted.
After Fulfillment Begins
Once an order has entered fulfillment, been packaged, or begun shipment processing, we may be unable to cancel or modify it.
After Shipment
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, it cannot be cancelled through KĀMOKU.
Any request to:
-
Change the shipping address;
-
Redirect the package;
-
Hold the package;
-
Intercept the package; or
-
Make another delivery change
must generally be directed to the applicable shipping carrier.
KĀMOKU cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to make the requested change.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights specifically required by applicable law.
13. REFUSED, RETURNED, OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, current, and deliverable shipping address and for making reasonable arrangements to receive their orders.
Refusing a delivery or allowing a package to be returned to sender does not automatically constitute an approved return and does not guarantee a full refund.
If a package is returned to KĀMOKU because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including:
-
Incorrect address;
-
Incomplete address;
-
Outdated address;
-
Refusal of delivery;
-
Failure to accept delivery;
-
Failure to retrieve or collect the package;
-
Inaccessible delivery location; or
-
Another customer-caused delivery failure,
the customer is responsible, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for applicable shipping and carrier costs resulting from that issue.
These costs may include:
-
Original outbound shipping charges;
-
Return-to-sender charges;
-
Carrier fees actually incurred by KĀMOKU; and
-
Additional shipping charges if reshipment is requested.
If the returned merchandise otherwise qualifies for a refund, KĀMOKU may deduct applicable shipping or carrier charges actually incurred because of the customer-caused delivery failure from the refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If the customer requests reshipment, KĀMOKU may require payment of the applicable new shipping charge before reshipping the order.
If the issue resulted from a confirmed KĀMOKU error, the customer will not be charged reasonable additional shipping costs necessary to correct our error.
14. REFUNDS
Once an eligible returned product is received, KĀMOKU may inspect the item to verify that it satisfies the requirements of this Policy.
A return is not finally approved for refund until the returned product has been received and, where applicable, inspected.
We may deny or reduce a refund if the returned product:
-
Has been opened;
-
Has been unsealed;
-
Has been used;
-
Has been tested;
-
Has been altered;
-
Has been contaminated;
-
Has been damaged after delivery;
-
Is missing required packaging or components;
-
Is materially different from the product originally shipped; or
-
Otherwise fails to satisfy the return conditions disclosed in this Policy,
except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
After KĀMOKU processes an approved refund, please allow approximately 5–10 business days for your bank, card issuer, or payment provider to post the refund.
Financial institutions control their own processing times, and KĀMOKU cannot guarantee the exact date on which funds will appear in your account.
Shipping Charges
For customer-responsible returns:
-
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable;
-
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility; and
-
Applicable customer-caused shipping or carrier fees may be deducted where permitted by this Policy and applicable law.
For a confirmed KĀMOKU error, reasonable shipping costs required to correct our error will not be charged to the customer.
15. EXCHANGES
KĀMOKU does not currently offer routine direct exchanges for customer-preference or change-of-mind purchases.
If you would like a different product, you may return an eligible unopened product under this Policy and place a new order.
For an incorrect, damaged, defective, or otherwise qualifying product, please contact us before placing another order so that we can determine an appropriate remedy.
A replacement sent to correct a KĀMOKU error or qualifying product problem is not considered a routine exchange.
16. PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, GIFTS, AND BUNDLES
If a purchase includes a complimentary item, gift, sample, or promotional product that was conditional on the qualifying purchase, we may require the promotional item to be returned with the qualifying merchandise where reasonably appropriate and permitted by law.
If the promotional item is not returned, its disclosed or reasonable promotional value may affect the amount of an otherwise eligible refund where permitted by applicable law.
For products sold together as a bundle or set, the complete bundle may be required to qualify for a full refund.
Partial returns may be refused or refunded based on the applicable individual value where properly disclosed and permitted by applicable law.
17. FINAL-SALE ITEMS
Products clearly identified as Final Sale before purchase are not eligible for change-of-mind return or refund unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Final-sale status does not eliminate any non-waivable rights relating to qualifying defective, incorrect, damaged, or otherwise nonconforming products.
18. FALSE, FRAUDULENT, OR ABUSIVE CLAIMS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, KĀMOKU may deny a discretionary refund, replacement, return, or other remedy where we reasonably determine that a claim is:
-
Fraudulent;
-
Materially misleading;
-
Knowingly false;
-
Abusive;
-
Duplicative; or
-
Unsupported by reasonably requested information.
We may request reasonable documentation necessary to investigate a claim.
Nothing in this section permits KĀMOKU to deny a valid right or remedy required by applicable law.
19. PURCHASES FROM THIRD-PARTY SELLERS
This Policy applies only to products purchased directly through kamoku.com.
If you purchased a KĀMOKU product from an:
-
Authorized retailer;
-
Marketplace;
-
Tattoo studio;
-
Distributor; or
-
Other third-party seller,
please contact that seller directly regarding its applicable return and refund policy.
KĀMOKU is generally not responsible for administering another seller's independent return policy unless expressly agreed or required by applicable law.
20. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Refund & Return Policy is intended to waive, restrict, eliminate, or exclude any consumer right, warranty, remedy, or legal protection that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal, California, or other applicable law.
If any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will control.
21. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Refund & Return Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
-
Products;
-
Return practices;
-
Fulfillment operations;
-
Subscription programs;
-
Shipping practices;
-
Business operations; or
-
Applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Changes will apply prospectively where required by applicable law.
