Do I apply all three products together?
Each has a different place in the routine. Hydro Gel helps reduce friction and leaves a thin, breathable protective layer during tattooing and initial care, as directed by your artist. Comfort Mist offers moisture and comfort when tattooed skin feels dry, tight or itchy. Daily Tattoo Salve brings daily moisture for brighter-looking, more defined fully healed tattoos.
Which stage am I in?
Use your skin’s condition and your tattoo artist’s guidance, rather than a fixed day number. How quickly skin settles varies with the tattoo and the individual. The set is organized by care needs, so you can choose the texture that makes sense for you.
Is Hydro gel water-based?
No. It is an oil-based gel. Botanical oils, conditioning ingredients, wax, silica and corn starch create its spreading texture. The word “gel” describes the texture; it does not mean water is the main ingredient.
Are the formulas fragrance-free?
The formulas differ. DAILY Tattoo Salve lists fragrance (Parfum) and aromatic citrus and juniper oils. Hydro Gel and Comfort Mist also contain botanical oils. Open each full ingredient list above to review the formula that suits your preferences.
Does moisturizing prevent tattoo fading?
Moisturizing helps dry skin look and feel smoother. That is different from changing the ink itself or guaranteeing that a tattoo will not fade. These products are not sunscreens and do not provide a stated SPF.
